Why Filter Maintenance Matters
Clean filters maintain strong airflow, improve dust collection, and help protect the motor from overheating. Dirty filters can reduce suction and shorten the life of the appliance.
Removing the Filter
- Turn the vacuum off.
- Disconnect the power cord.
- Remove the dust container.
- Open the filter compartment.
- Lift the filter straight out.
Cleaning the Filter
- Tap gently to remove loose dust.
- Wash with cool water if the filter is washable.
- Do not use detergents.
- Do not scrub the filter material.
Drying
Allow the filter to air dry for at least 24 hours before reinstallation. Never install a damp filter.
Replacement Schedule
- Inspect every month.
- Clean every three months.
- Replace every 12 months or when damaged.
Important: Never operate the vacuum without
the filter installed.
